cxcash.app frequently asked questions
What is CXCASH?
CXCASH is a private stablecoin on Aztec mainnet that tracks a fixed basket of six currencies: USD 40%, EUR 28%, CNY 12%, JPY 8%, GBP 7%, CHF 5%. It started at $1.00. Balances and transfers are shielded; total supply and the basket price are public.
Can I send CXCASH from cxcash.app?
Send CXCASH from the wallet to any Aztec address. Sends are gasless: the CXCASH contract pays the Aztec network fee (fair-use limits), and first-time account activation is sponsored and happens with your first send. You pay only the CXCASH transfer fee (0.35%, minimum 0.05 CXCASH, never more than 1%).
Do I need Fee Juice?
Not for CXCASH sends. Fee Juice is Aztec's gas asset; the CXCASH contract's fee sponsor covers it, subject to fair-use limits.
Where do I receive CXCASH?
Use your own Aztec address in the wallet under Receive → CXCASH. New CXCASH is issued to that address when you buy on CoinExchange.cash; the token contract is not your deposit address.
Can CXCASH transfers be frozen or paused?
The contract's emergency pause covers only minting and price updates. Transfers can't be paused, and the contract has no upgrade function.
Is CXCASH anonymous?
Shielding reduces public linkage but does not guarantee anonymity: network metadata, devices and anything shared off-chain can still reveal information.
Do I need an account, email or ID to use the wallet?
No. You create or import a wallet on your device. Buying crypto on an exchange, including CoinExchange.cash, may have its own verification rules.
Which Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash addresses does it use?
LTC: native SegWit (BIP-84). DOGE: BIP-44 P2PKH. BCH: BIP-44 with CashAddr display, and legacy addresses are accepted when sending.
