A wallet for private stablecoin payments

Most stablecoins move on public ledgers, so anyone can see what you paid, to whom and what you hold. CXCASH is a stablecoin on Aztec mainnet whose balances and transfers are shielded. Instead of tracking only the US dollar, it tracks a fixed basket of six currencies. cxcash.app is a free, non-custodial wallet that holds it alongside your other coins.

Why transparent stablecoins leak payment data

On Ethereum and other transparent chains, stablecoin transfers expose amounts, sender and receiver addresses, and full balance history to anyone with a block explorer. That is fine for some use cases, but it is a poor fit when you want everyday payments to stay private between you and the counterparty.

What CXCASH is

CXCASH (CxCashV2) tracks a fixed-weight basket: USD 40 · EUR 28 · CNY 12 · JPY 8 · GBP 7 · CHF 5, starting at $1.00 on 2026-10-04 04:09 UTC. Launch-day FX anchors are stored immutably in the contract. Total supply and the basket price are public on-chain; balances and transfers are shielded on Aztec. 0.35% (35 bps) per send, minimum 0.05 CXCASH, capped at 1.00% (100 bps) in the contract. Send CXCASH from the wallet to any Aztec address. Sends are gasless: the CXCASH contract pays the Aztec network fee (fair-use limits), and first-time account activation is sponsored and happens with your first send. You pay only the CXCASH transfer fee (0.35%, minimum 0.05 CXCASH, never more than 1%).

Holding CXCASH in cxcash.app

Your Aztec address is derived in the wallet. Open Receive → CXCASH to copy it—never send to the token contract. The wallet shows your private CXCASH balance after notes arrive. On Aztec, cxcash.app currently supports CXCASH only. Other Aztec tokens are not supported yet.

Sending with a stable transfer fee

Limits and honest risks

Aztec mainnet is in its Alpha phase, and the Aztec docs warn that bugs are expected. Use amounts you can afford to lose. Aztec docs. Shielding reduces public linkage but does not guarantee anonymity: network metadata, devices and anything you share off-chain can still reveal information. Gasless sponsorship is subject to fair-use limits.
